Traditionally, the Hail Mary beads are adorned with silk flowers and beautiful beads, while the Our Father beads are represented by a large, stunning bead that complements the color of the silk flowers.

I wanted to explore alternative design options for the Our Father beads and decided to incorporate butterflies into this piece. The symbolism of butterflies resonates deeply, as they undergo a transformative process, emerging anew, much like the souls of our loved ones who have passed on. These beautiful butterflies are carefully selected and coated with acrylic to ensure their delicate wings can withstand the outdoor elements when placed on a headstone or grave.
